That's exactly what happened to my best friend's cat...and he is happy and healthy many years later. I hope your kitty has the same amazing recovery.

Yep, I'm GoingLoopy's friend who went through the same thing (see above). Bob, a/k/a Tri-Bob, is doing great. He had his leg removed 12 or 13 years ago. It took four days before I found a vet who would cut the leg off rather than kill him. Oh, and $800. I'll never regret spending the $800, though, because he is an awesome cat. I wish you and Junebug the best and happy healing.
