Why do you have to remind me of the dead goose song? I actually don't remember it from my youth, but it is on one of the nursery rhyme song discs that we bought for my son. I remember my first thought at hearing the lyrics to that song... "Holy Hell!!! Are they really singing about dead fowl in a children's song? What kind of insane asylum escapee decided that this was proper fare for children? Let's get the kids singing about dead things. Not too creepy."

And 15 miles on the Erie Canal? Thanks for that one too. I definitely needed that in my head.
